All VIU Witches and Warlocks are welcome to join us at Westwood Lake for our first ever halloween witch paddle! Bring your stand-up paddle board or kayak, life jacket, and costume and have a fun paddle on the lake. We’ll be stationed at the beach near the second main parking lot.Also bring your reusable mug to get some free hot chocolate and coffee from White Rabbit Coffee Co. to help warm you up after!

We’ll also have a food truck, bouncy castle, and bonfire with marshmallows.Kids are invited to join the Westwood Lake Trail Witch Hunt. This is a scavenger hunt to locate 13 witches along the main trail. Get your scavenger map from the main tent and happy hunting. Return your completed map to be entered into a draw for prizes and collect your free goodie bag.VIU students may sign-up for a free 1 hour paddleboard rental with Westco Experience (limited availability, reservation required).
