All Candidates Forum

  • Malaspina Theatre B.310 900 Fifth Street Nanaimo, BC, V9R 5S5 Canada (map)

Join us for an engaging and informative evening at the All Candidates Forum, hosted by the VIU Students' Union and the VIU Political Studies Department, where the VIU community will have the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates from Nanaimo-Gabriola and Nanaimo-Lantzville ridings who are running in the upcoming provincial election. This event is an excellent chance for students, faculty, and staff to become informed about the platforms and visions of those seeking to represent them.

This will not be an open forum format. Candidates will receive all questions in advance. UPDATE: Students will have an opportunity to ask questions directly to candidates during a meet & greet portion of the event. The question submission form for students is now closed and all questions have been submitted to candidates. Our questions were formed from submissions made by students as well as from students who participated in our activities hosted during frosh week.
