Dry Disco

  • B300 Upper Cafeteria Room - Royal Arbutus Room 900 Fifth Street Nanaimo, BC, V9R 5S5 Canada (map)

Dry Disco is a 1970s/Disco party hosted by the VIU Psychology Club to show how much fun being sober can be! Dry Disco will feature: a 'Mocktail' bar with bartenders mixing up spirit-free spins on classic drinks, a Costume contest, Ice breaker games, Karaoke (from 8-9pm), Light appies, and some awesome Prizes for game and costume contest winners!

Tickets are available on EventBrite (includes 1 mocktail) or by minimum $5.00 donation at the door.

All event proceeds will be used to start a Psychology student scholarship inspired by Psychology professor Jeffrey Nicol. Students, staff, faculty, and friends & family are welcome to join in on the fun - wearing their best disco dress of course!
