Club Promotion + Opportunities

To get the ball rolling, we have 4 exciting promotional opportunities for clubs coming up in the fall! Clubs will have a chance to register for the Connect Fair, RockVIU, FROSH Mini Games Day, & Club Fair. To learn more about each of these events and reserve spots for your club, please visit our Fall Club Outreach Signup.

Clubs that have not yet renewed their club in 2021 will need to do so prior to August 27, 2021 to participate in these opportunities. Use the Club Registration or Renewal Form to do so (also found on the VIUSU app in the Clubs tile). Reminder that this includes hosting an election, drafting a new budget, and filling in all required forms.

Fall Update

We are very happy to share that nearly all typical club activities will be able to resume this fall. BC (and VIU) is now in stage 3 of the BC Restart Plan, and we expect to enter stage 4 on the first day of classes. If you are looking to plan an event for your club and aren’t certain it is within the guidelines, please get in touch!

• Room Booking is now available for meetings, events, and activities beginning September 7, 2021.

• Equipment Booking is also available for meetings, events, and activities beginning September 7, 2021. Requests will be considered for dates before this on a case to case basis.
